Day to day you’ll be working with a multifunctional team across product, engineering, marketing and consumer experience. You’ll be working with a collaborative environment to align around our consumer and team objectives, advocating for innovative ideas, processes and features that deliver on our strategy. You will also collaborate closely with the broader Audience Analytics Centre of Excellence team within REA Group.

**What the role is all about**

The Senior Product and Growth Analyst will play a critical role in driving commercial value through data-driven insights that facilitate informed decision making. You will collect and analyse data from diverse data sources to provide reporting and actionable recommendations across strategic product, sales and marketing initiatives.

While there’s a good chance no two days will be the same, you’ll be working closely with product, tech and marketing teams to:

+ Develop and deliver regular product performance and audience reporting to support the REAx team in critical decision making. This analysis will include competitor analysis, product usage, audience engagement and conversion funnels to help understand the user journey.

+ Develop mechanisms for regular monitoring of site and product performance to detect and diagnose trend changes.

+ Leverage data and market research/business intelligence to optimise and drive consumer acquisition, conversion and revenue growth of our portfolio.

+ Conduct deep dive analysis on key audiences and products to identify and prioritise opportunities and help shape product initiatives.

+ Develop and evolve dashboards for executive, management, and team level presentations.

+ Work closely with relevant team members to support product tagging & tracking requirements and build custom data marts to enable downstream analyses and reporting

+ Support the determination of OKRs (objectives and key results), including forecasting performance and communicating results through dashboards.

+ Champion data-driven decision making by communicating insights, highlighting impacts, and engaging stakeholders.

+ Represent the REAx team in the broader REA Group analytics community, building relationships to share knowledge and drive efficiency.

**Who** **we’re** **looking** **for**

+ A self-starter with demonstrated experience in growth analytics, business intelligence or related roles, and a proven track record in driving commercial value through product and data analysis.

+ Ability to manipulate, analyse and interpret data from a variety of sources using a variety of tools and techniques including:

+ Experience in digital analytics solutions such as Google Big Query and Adobe Analytics;

+ Experience in database interrogation using SQL;

+ Experience using business intelligence systems such as Tableau;

+ Experience working with popular Marketing Automation/CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, or Braze.

+ A passion for not only creating dashboards and reports but summarising actionable key insights to the team and identifying key drivers (including market and competitor movement).

+ Ability to work with our data teams to ensure we capture and structure the data necessary to track key metrics, user journeys and support A/B and multi-variate testing.

+ Analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail that will help us to drive strategic priorities.

The successful candidate will help lead coverage of a region that sits at the epicenter of the major geopolitical realignment currently under way. **About the Role:**

In this role, you will manage the Global Chlor-alkali Market Advisory Service (MAS) business to deliver industry-leading current and future regional and global market analyses and forecasts for all chlor-alkali chemicals including, but not limited to, caustic soda, chlorine, potassium hydroxide, and hydrochloric acid. You will manage and develop research analysts who support the Global Chlor-alkali MAS. You will also collaborate with other Inorganics Global Service Leads (GSLs) and Global Business Leads (GBLs) to advance multi-business CMA initiatives and capabilities development. You will report to the Inorganic Chemicals Global Business Lead.

**You Will:**

+ Maintain CMA’s reputation for best-in-class chlor-alkali and chlor-alkali derivative insights

+ Develop value-adding offerings to expand Chlor-alkali MAS content to support revenue and client growth

+ Maintain short-term and strategic organizational plans to support delivery excellence

+ Develop team members, balance workloads, and champion growth opportunities

+ Collaborate with the Global Vinyls Service Leader and GBL to organize and deliver the annual Global Chlor-alkali and Vinyls Conference (GCAVC) and the Chlor-vinyls session of the World Chemical Forum

+ Collaborate with other Inorganics GSLs and GBL to advance multi-business CMA initiatives and capabilities development

+ Complete North America caustic soda market primary research, analysis, and reporting

**You Have:**

+ 15+ years’ chemical industry experience, including commercial and team lead experience

+ Established business relationships with key chlor-alkali buy-side and sell-side market participants at multiple levels, including executive management

+ Demonstrated business and people management experience

+ Experience internalizing organizational strategy & objectives and providing leadership for collaborative success

+ Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, economics, or related discipline

Dow Jones is seeking a Platform Editor for NewsPlus, its web portal for financial professionals.

NewsPlus features company, markets and economic news, features and analysis from Dow Jones Newswires in English and in real-time, on an intuitive web interface. Working on a shift-based system, NewsPlus editors form part of a team that selects breaking news, features and analysis from across Dow Jones publications, including the Wall Street Journal, curating them for publication on the NewsPlus platform.

NewsPlus is a crucial component of Dow Jones’s professional content business, and is highly valued by banks, financial services companies, brokers and other market experts. Internally, stories published first to the platform increasingly appear on WSJ.com, the main Wall Street Journal website, and in print.

NewsPlus content also powers APIs that feed a large number of third-party platforms.

NewsPlus team members must be comfortable working in a digital news environment and be able to assess stories for publication based on strong news judgment. The team is also responsible for compiling newsletters, briefings and other material.

Strong written English, excellent news judgment, a close eye for detail and good organizational and prioritization skills are essential. A demonstrable interest in current affairs, economics, business and finance are also key, as is an interest in how news is consumed.

Applicants should preferably have a sound understanding of financial markets and corporate and economic news. Some previous reporting experience would be an advantage.

An ability to quickly grasp software and technology is important, especially in the areas of news production and data handling.

A key part of the role includes communicating in real time with other editors, reporters and coverage chiefs across the region and more broadly. The ability to work varying shifts may also be required. There may be occasional early starts.

We are looking for a Korean language translator to assess and help improve the accuracy and fluency of newswires and WSJ content that is translated into Korean.
